Molluscs have soft bodies. Some of them do not have head.

Many of them have shells to protect their bodies. Some mollluscs have a single shell, like snails. Others have shells that can open and close, such as mussels. And some molluscs, like octopuses , do not have a shell.

 

They can live on land or in water.
